You can read the review I wrote of the Manics at King Tuts last night (18th Feb 2010) over at STV Entertainment. Feel free to leave some comment over there if you were at the gig as well.
Got myself a Kodak Zi6 recently to play with. Taking it on holiday to Italy next week on my snowboarding trip so will write up my thoughts once i’ve put it through it’s paces.
For Christmas this year I was lucky enough to get an Xbox 360 for my good lady. As part of the package I received a 1 month trial of the XBox Live Gold service, which is required to play online multiplayer on Microsoft’s console. On 25th January, that trial ran out and after living with the Silver version for a couple of days i realised i was going tp have to go gold again. At £39.99 though it seemed a bit expensive for features that are standard on the PC / Mac or the Wii and PS3.
I had a look around and found that Amazon and a few online retailers sold the cards for £34.99. Not too shabby I thought – but I wanted it now. I didn’t want to have to wait a week for it to arrive in the post. And thats when i found BuyGamingCodes.com. They sell 13 month Gold subscriptions for £27.99 or the 12 month variety for £25.99. You can pay online with Paypal (so you know you’re covered in case of any wrongness happening) and they deliver the code via email within a day (mine took about 12 hours to arrive after a late night order).
Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get a cheap Xbox Live Gold membership quickly.
Steven vs Godzilla won 2 bronze awards at The Roses advertising awards on Thursday night just past. Well done to the oceanseventy kids as well as Eddy who did the illustration and Joe who filmed the live action.
A look down the River Clyde, late in the afternoon a few weeks ago.
Another Great Result
I think this week alone has been worth the price of my Rangers season ticket. Following a great win over Celtic on Saturday, we getting a cracking result at home to Barcelona. Barcelona had crazy amounts of possession but made very few clear cut chances. The gers’ defence was immense and the atmosphere at Ibrox was electric. Ronaldinho who?
