Evening Glow

I’ve really got to stop taking pictures of sunsets/sunrises.. it’s just too easy.

Down the River

A look down the River Clyde, late in the afternoon a few weeks ago.

Another Great Result

I think this week alone has been worth the price of my Rangers season ticket. Following a great win over Celtic on Saturday, we getting a cracking result at home to Barcelona. Barcelona had crazy amounts of possession but made very few clear cut chances. The gers’ defence was immense and the atmosphere at Ibrox was electric. Ronaldinho who?

The ocean 70 site has been picked up by quite a few CSS galleries – CSS Mania, web creme and Best Web Gallery all featured it along with a handful of other wee sites.

Morning has Broken

Lately when i stumble through to the kitchen in the morning i’m greeted by some amazing sunrises.

The Mighty Gers

I had the great pleasure of being at the Rangers vs Celtic game yesterday. Rangers won 3 – 0 and played fantastically well for the full 90 minutes. Typical old firm fare in that there were a few bust ups, but Celtic never really turned up and the only headlines they made were due to idiots like Boruc and McDonald. Still, this season is shaping up to be a cracker. So glad i got me a season ticket this year.

Autumn Roses

Some pink roses on the brink of dying in the oncoming Autumn.

The oceanseventy site is now well and truly live. Its got a great showreel on it, but is currently missing quite a lot of stuff from the portfolio. It needs a few tweaks but i’m pretty happy with it.

On a related note – we’re looking for a ew senior web designer to join the crew. Fire emails at digital (at) ocean70 (dot) com if you or someone you know wants to work for a great wee company in Glasgow.

AKME Stairs

Just over the River Clyde from the City Center of Glasgow lurks Tradeston… a ramshackle collection of old warehouses. Rumour has it that soon it will be all knocked down in favour of “luxury executive apartments” and “prime retail opportunities”.

Yay!

Lights Out

I love taking pictures at this time of year. Great sunsets, clear skies and a cold chill in the air. This one was taken near Battlefield Rest in Shawlands, Glasgow.

Bits

The oceanseventy site is a go-er. Still some minor tweaks to be made here and there and a few new additions coming in the next week or so, but by and large i’m pretty happy with it. Let me know what you think :)

Had this misfortune to attend the Rangers v Hibs game at Ibrox yesterday. After an amazing performance in midweek against Lyon i can’t believe how badly we played. Big questions must be asked of Smiths tactics yesterday. Going 4-5-1 was a huge mistake. Playing Kris Boyd up front on his own was ridiculous. Smith himself said in midweek that he can’t play there so why did he do exactly that yesterday? Charlie Adam once again proved that he isnt fit to wear a reserve team jersey, let alone play in the first team. How he lasted 90minutes yesterday i don’t know. Very disappointing and with Celtic coming to visit in a fortnight it doesn’t bode well.
